Victim Restitution

In California, victims of crime have a constitutional right to restitution. It is the policy of the District Attorney’s Office that prosecutors and Restitution Recovery Team staff assist victims in obtaining restitution orders from convicted defendants in every appropriate case.

If you need assistance with restitution, please call (619) 531-3517 or Email at Restitution@sdcda.org. A representative will speak with you to determine how we can assist you. Program services are provided free of charge and there is no legal citizenship requirement to receive assistance.

If you need assistance with restitution for a juvenile case, please call (858) 694-4271 or email Juvenile.Restitution@sdcda.org.
