The District Attorney's Office created the "Protecting Children Online" program to educate parents about the risks to children online. We are working hand-in-hand with law enforcement, parent groups, children's organizations and concerned corporate citizens to launch a major public outreach program to give parents the tools they need to keep their children safe. The District Attorney's Office applauds the efforts of our major partners and sponsors, Ninth District PTA, San Diego Unified Council PTA, Promises 2 Kids (formerly Child Abuse Prevention Foundation), Cubic Corporation, the Department of Justice and the advertising agency DiZinno Thompson - all of whom have contributed financial support and vast amounts of pro bono time in this important community endeavor.
