      LEQ Fall 2006

The Law Enforcement Quarterly (LEQ) is an award-winning magazine published by the District Attorney's office. Since 1971, it has proudly served San Diego's law enforcement community providing professional education and training to every sworn officer in San Diego County. In 1989, the LEQ was transformed from a legal journal to a glossy, four-color magazine. Its articles provide professional training on current criminal legal issues, officer training and safety. The magazine also features profiles of local leaders in law enforcement, and highlights professional achievements. The San Diego Press Club has named the LEQ the Best Trade Magazine four times in the last five years.

In every issue, an officer or group of officers is recognized for their outstanding contributions to their profession with the Commendation of the Quarter.

If you would like to nominate someone for the Commendation, or have story ideas, please contact Paul Levikow at 619-531-3536.

Current and past issues of LEQ are available here for review in Adobe PDF format. File sizes are approximately 1.5 megs. The files on this page are Adobe PDF files and require the Adobe Acrobat Reader to be viewed.
